Jena. This year, the Leibniz Institute on Aging - Fritz Lipmann Institute (FLI) in Jena will host the Leibniz Conference on Bioactive Compounds". On April 24 and 25, more than 50 scientists from around the world are expected to gather in the Thuringian research hub. Among the keynote speakers are Fabrizio D’Adda Di Fagagna from the Institute of Molecular Oncology in Milan and Jan Krönke from Charité in Berlin.

One of the awards will be the "Leibniz Drug of the Year 2024". Moreover, young researchers will have the opportunity to attract attention: as part of a competition, the best poster presentations or speeches by young scientists will be awarded with a cash prize.
