Biomolecules under analysis in recent years:

• Proteins active in the maintenance and the repair of genomic information
• Heme-binding motifs and proteins
• Oligomeric amyloid ß peptides as agents in Alzheimer's pathogenesis

In this context the group also developed techniques for NMR spectroscopy, which is a powerful tool for the structural characterization of biomolecules and their interaction in solution and in the solid state.
