From October 9th to 13th the sixth meeting on 'Molecular Genetics of Aging' will take place at Cold Spring Harbor, NY.

This international meeting will explore the regulation and function of genes and processes that are now known or suspected to control cellular and/or organismic aging.

Five researchers from the Leibniz Institute for Age Research (FLI) will give a talk at the CSH meeting and present their scientific work.

  • Baumgart, M; An evolutionarily-conserved set of microRNAs links brain maturation and aging
  •

  • Calkhoven, CF; C/EBPβ-mRNA translation links mTORC1 signaling to caloric restriction type metabolic reprogramming in mice
  •

  • Hartmann, N; The role of mitochondria during aging in the short-lived fish Nothobranchius furzeri
  •

  • Reichwald, K; Analysis of life span QTLs in the short-lived fish N. furzeri — A new vertebrate model for aging research
  •

  • Rudolph, LK; Defects in NMD lead to selective hematopoietic stem cell toxicity mediated by p19ARF checkpoint induction in mEst1A deficient mice
