On June 23rd 2012, the third alumni meeting of the Medical Faculty of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena (FSU) took place. During this event the alumni were given the opportunity to visit selected institutes on Beutenberg Campus and catch up on current research topics.
Twelve medical scientists visited the Leibniz Institute for Age Research - Fritz Lipmann Institute and informed themselves about age research in Jena during the tour that lasted an hour and a half. Professor Christoph Englert presented the current research projects of his group and provided an insight into the fish keeping at the institute.
