Time: June 13th, starting 1 pm
Place: Lecture Hall, Abbe Center Beutenberg
This semester the biannual Campus Workshop is arranged together with the JSMC research school. As a result we can offer a most variable program on Method and Concept transfer with both talks and posters. For example you will be able to find out more about:
- how a bioluminescent fungus can be used to follow the progression of fungal infection in vivo;
- the evolution of cooperative behaviour in yeast;
- a fs-laser treatment to cure the loss of near vision that hits middle age humans;
- how you can see what happens in a fruit fly brain when the fly is exposed to different smells;
- how you can investigate samples in a natural environment, at a nanometer scale, without destroying the specimen.
The aim of this workshop is to establish contacts between scientists with complementary skills and needs and there will be plenty of opportunities for individuals to meet and talk at the poster session!
