On June 3rd 2013 the Tag der Forschung (Day of Research) will take place in the University’s Rosensäle from 09:00 – 15:00 h. During this meeting, an overview is given over the current research foci of the Friedrich Schiller University and their research partners in Jena.
As the current science year 2013 is dedicated to “The demographic opportunity”, this year’s Day of Research will have the topic “Aktuelle Perspektiven der Alternsforschung - Current perspectives in Ageing Research”.
Besides science lectures and a poster session concerning research projects, a workshop will give the opportunity to discuss funding opportunities for research on ageing, future projects or to network with partners from science and economy, to develop new research topics and plan project applications.
Exhibits on ageing research will also be shown.
