From October 7th to 9th 2011 the meeting "Young active research in endocrinology (YARE)" took place in Stockholm/Sweden. Julia Müller and Steffen Mayerl, PhD students in the Heuer lab, both presented a talk.
Out of more than 30 presenters, Julia was chosen for the first place for her talk "Analysis of mouse mutants deficient in the thyroid hormone transporters Mct18 and Mct10". Steffen's talk "Analysis of mouse mutants deficient in the thyroid hormone transporter Oatp1c1" came in second.

Julia Müller will present a talk at the next annual meeting of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Endokrinologie (DGE - German Association for Endocrinology) "55. Symposium der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Endokrinologie" (55th Symposium of the German Association for Endocrinology) in March 2012 in Mannheim.
