The Leibniz Institute for Age Research – Fritz Lipmann Institute (FLI) hosted the first event of Else Kröner-Fresenius Seminar Series on Aging on July 10th.

The Leibniz Institute for Age Research – Fritz Lipmann Institute (FLI) hosted the first event of Else Kröner-Fresenius Seminar Series on Aging on July 10th.

In front of a packed hall, Henrich Jasper, Professor at Buck Institute for Research on Aging in Novato, USA, and Jan van Deursen, Professor at Mayo Clinic Rochester, USA, presented their current research work on flies and mammals. In a wine & cheese meeting, FLI-scientists and guests could exchange on the projects afterwards.

The seminar series are intended to enhance the collaboration between the institutes and help young scientists to build and strengthen networks or get valuable input for their own research. The seminar series are funded by Else Kröner-Fresenius Foundation.
