The DGfA (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Alternsforschung) Annual Meeting 2012 took place in Hofheim/Taunus from November 23th-24th.
Laura Zidek from the Calkhoven Lab was awarded for her presentation entitled "C/EBPß translation links mTORC1 signalling to metabolic performance in mice" with the "Fritz Boege Award for Aging Research" for the best talk. This years meeting of the DGfA was co-organised by Heinz Osiewacz, spokesman of GerontoMitoSys, Frankfurt/Main, Björn Schumacher treasurer of the DGfA and Lenhard Rudolph, president of the DGfA.
