Under the motto „Shape the change“ the Federal Minister of Education Professor Johanna Wanka opened the "Wissenschaftsjahr 2013 - Die demografische Chance/Science Year 2013 - The demographic opportunity" in Berlin’s Museum of Natural History on February 26th. In the Science Year 2013 the focus is on three fields of action: We are living longer. We are becoming fewer. We are becoming more diverse. Thus the Science year 2013 will encourage the societal debate about fields of action, challenges and opportunities that come up with demographic change.
