The “Natural science-day” took place on August 25, 2011 as part of the festivities for the 20th anniversary of the school’s founding.
25 pupils of the Ernst-Abbe-Gymnasium along with their teachers visited the Leibniz Institute for Age Research and acquainted themselves with current research topics at the institute.
Not only did they learn something about laser techniques and fish in research on ageing, but they were also able to experience what it feels like to be old.
