As a guest of the Leibniz Institute on Aging (FLI), Prof. Jaenisch presented groundbreaking research results from stem cell research in his lecture "Stem cells, epigenetics and gene editing: a medical revolution?”. He questioned how safe the applications are to use on humans and what the risks and dangers are that come with these new methods.
Prof. Jaenisch is founding member of the Whitehead Institute and Professor of Biology at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, USA. He is a highly respected genetic and stem cell researcher.
