It’s already for the second time, that the Leibniz Institute on Aging (FLI) is awarded the title “TOTAL E-QUALITY“ in acknowledgement of our successful equal opportunities strategy and our engagement for the compatibility of family life and career. The title is valid from 2016 until 2018 and will be awarded with the Add-on “Diversity”.
In its statement, the jury honored the highly professional manner by which all measures of equalization are planned and implemented at the Institute. Furthermore, it acknowledged the excellent networking with regard to the compatibility of family and work life as well as the Institute’s engagement in various regional dual career networks. The jury was impressed by the fact that since the last award, myriad new activities have been implemented in addition to the existing ones.
In acknowledgement of the high diversity and skills amongst FLI’s employees, the Institute is honored with the Add-on “Diversity”. The certificate “TOTAL E-QUALITY” and the Add-on will be awarded to the Institute in November 2016.
This certificate is awarded to organizations from commerce, science or politics and administrative organizations, which incorporate equality into their personnel and organizational policies. In 2016, 58 organizations (23 from the science sector) are honored with the certificate, thereof 12 Leibniz Institutes including the three institutes from Jena (FLI, HKI and IPHT). The Add-on “Diversity” is awarded to 21 organizations.
